SUSTAINABILITY
We prefer organic cotton rather than regular cotton, because large amounts of pesticides, poisons and water are used.
Regular cotton production is not good for the workers who work on cultivation and processing, or for the environment.
Organic cotton currently accounts for only 1% of all cotton production in the world.
Organic cotton cultivation uses no genetically modified crops or toxic chemicals, such as chemical pesticides or fertilizers.
Less water and energy are needed, and improve the health situation of cotton farmers and their families as they are not exposed to toxic chemicals.
Lack of clean water is one of the biggest challenges facing the growing population of the world.
Organic cotton production uses the water reservoirs and rainwater optimally in traditional flow systems or with drip techniques.
The cultivation of organic cotton takes place with concern for the environment and the people who produce it.
One of our goals is that most of the cotton should come from sustainable sources and that the factories they use must be healthy and safe.

GOTS
(Global Organic Textile Standard) is an international label for organic textiles.
The labeling system requires that at least 70 percent of the fibers should be ecologically grown and that the textiles must meet environmental and health requirements
throughout the production process. Social criteria and safety for workers are also included in the requirements.
GOTS has its own certification bodies that carry out certification and inspections by brand users.
Safe Textiles (Oeko – Tex)
Products marked with Safe Textiles should not contain any sensitizing colorants or carcinogens.
Not only are organic qualities that can be labeled with Oeko-tex certification.
Products marked with shall not contain any sensitizing colorants or carcinogens.
The label also provides a guarantee that the product has been tested for chlorinated phenols, phthalates, organic tin compounds, etc.
Ethical Production
An ethical production means ensuring that the production and functions around it do not harm the consumer or society.
We carefully choose the materials we use in our products. Our definition of quality requires that every substance we use is durable and functionally suitable for the intended use.
It requires our materials to withstand decomposition of use and washing. They must be easy to take care of and produce with care for people and the planet.
The choice of substances, materials, production methods and dyes is therefore carefully considered before the production of our products.
We are working to meet the following criteria for our products and productions:
• Motivate use and throw mentality, cheap fashion and harmful fashion usage.
• Promote sustainability standards in the fashion industry.
• Deliver designs for allowing children to be children.
• Awareness and enlightening measures of our products against consumers and manufacturers.
• Use manufacturers that provide fair salaries, working conditions and good employee rights.
• No use of toxic pesticides.
• Use of environmentally friendly substances and components in production.
Recycled yarns (cotton, polyester, etc.)
Recycled yarns can find a new life in many different products, like clothes. The annual textile waste is estimated to equal 25 billion pounds. The amount of energy, water & dye use is reduced from using a product that has already been processed. The savings are achieved by offsetting the production of new materials. The CO2 and fossil fuel emission savings can be partially offset by using existing materials.
